week 6 blog 1: Chapter 6 poem rewrite

Note: pictures are not mine
Chapter 6, For this poem I was a little to telling at the beginning. Professor Maltman, suggest that I changed some things, so I did. The revision I though, turned out much better than the original. This just goes with what my dad says, “Writing is rewriting, each time it gets better and better.”
Original:
The Farm

Midnight on the Farm
Can be full of different emotions
Happiness, sadness
Promise, suspense or life
One farm is different
One farm is lonely
This farm was abandoned
This farm has no one
The windmill cries fiercely
For one to come here
The barn moans, its wood creaks
Calling for one to fix it
The fields of tall grass murmur
For one to tend to it
The lights of the farmhouse dim
Knowing that no one will come
Each part of the farm shouts
Each part of the farm whispers
Wishing, wanting, woefully crying
To no longer, be lonely
Reedit:
